General

1. What are Travel Packs and why would I use them?

Travel Packs are what you use to plan trips on PlanetEye. They allow you to organize your entire trip by all of the cities you will be visiting, and then adding hotels, restaurants, attractions (and more) to each of those cities.

They are there to let you collect a set of possibilities for where you would like to stay, where you would like to eat, and things you would like to do while you are visiting a destination. You can plan your entire trip visually, using PlanetEye’s maps to get a sense of where everything is, which can be especially helpful in areas to which you’ve never traveled.

TIP: If you are headed to a city such as Chicago, you may want to add several hotels to your Travel Pack, some restaurants you might like, and also some things to do while you are there.

As you continue to refine your trip, you would remove hotels until you got down to the 1 or 2 you will be staying at. You can then more easily pick and choose the places you want to eat based on their proximity to your hotel(s), as well as attractions or activities.
